Antecedent - "a thing that exists before or logically precedes another". Rachel Palmer has rediscovered her inner musical voice and composes spacious soundscapes with intimate and melancholy undertones. Their organically structured rhythms meet surging synthesizers that convey the feeling of breathing in a slow-motion dream state. Textured layers of grainy voices mingling with soft melodies and deep bass lines are the culmination of her innermost inspirations. Having devoted herself almost exclusively to the fine arts in the past and almost completely stopped composing music, the return of her musical inspiration was through encountering the love of her life, moving across the Atlantic, experiencing a new culture and the "Finding home" influences.
